Langford & District History Society was founded in 1983 and is a small, friendly village society.
Our meetings are usually held on the first Wednesday of every month (except January and August) and are fairly informal, with speaker starting at 8.00pm (with tea and coffee available from 19:45 until 20:00) .
The venue is St Andrew’s Church Hall in Church Street Langford. (The hall stands in front of the parish church and opposite the school and has adequate car parking.)
New members are very welcome.
Our annual membership fee is £5.00 (as at February 2025) with an additional £3 fee each per meeting.
Download an application form here. HS-Membership-Application-2025
Visitors, if space is available, are also very welcome and will need to pay £5.00 at the door (except for visits and the December meeting, when other charges could apply). Free tea and coffee is served prior to all meetings (from 19:45).
A full programme of talks is arranged each year, for the current one go to our programme page.
