Wednesday 3rd. JUNE @ 19:00 History Society visit
We are delighted to say that our June Summer Visit this year will be a guided walk of Sandy – concentrating mostly on the High Street and Market Square area – led by Ruth and Tony Lock.
Ruth and Tony will be showing us around, telling us something about the history and some of the people associated with Sandy through the years.
The walk will start from the carpark (accessed via Belfry Court – just off the High Street, nearly opposite the Parish Church) – where there is free parking for 2 hours. The guided walk should take about an hour (there should be time for a quick drink in the pub afterwards if anybody is so minded!)
Please note, to maximise the daylight, the walk will start earlier than usual – at 7pm
